Behavior Therapist

Salary: $25-$33 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday with flexible hours and timing. Part and full time available.

Searching for Engaged and Enthusiastic Behavior Therapist!

​

Do you love working with kids? Do you enjoy a job where you can make a direct impact on the children you work with?

​

In our pediatric therapy practice behavior therapists provide direct therapy to children to build skills in the areas of play, social, language, cognitive, academic, motor and self-help. Think teacher meets therapist with a touch of camp counselor.

​

Perhaps you even have some experience working with children with delays in their development or behavior challenges! Our current and particularly rock star team of of behavior technicians come from a diverse background of experience!

​

Through daily routines, play, games, structured activities, and even social skills groups, therapy goals are targeted under the support and guidance of a collaborative team.

​

Responsibilities of a BT

  • Follow treatment plans and instructional programs to teach new skills

  • Implement behavior intervention plans

  • Use play and naturally occurring routines to teach new skills

  • Take daily data on client responding to track progress

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Preferred related experience with children with and without Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • Washington State CBT license preferred but not required

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Available to work a minimum of 8 hours per week

  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds and get on and off the floor easily
